About Us | ||
Thank you for your interest in our Fellowship. Chantilly Bible Church is not a building or denomination, but a group of Christians who gather together to fellowship and to worship God the Father by honoring His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
We love you and are glad that you are visiting our web site. The Lord has brought together a special group of people, a spiritual family, that really loves you and whose love is based on God's demonstrated love toward you through His Son. Our pastoral staff is headed by the Reverend Steve Austin, who grew up in Fairfax and attended Virginia Tech before beginning a career as a Research and Development Structural Engineer. In 1973, God called him into the ministry after he graduated from Capital Bible Seminary. Chantilly Bible Church began meeting on January 7, 1979, in a local school. From October 1988, through October 2002, we were blessed to be able to meet in a more permanent building, a restored farm. |
Path to LifeOne person might tell you the way to get to Heaven is by obeying the Ten Commandments. Another will tell you that you need to go to church regularly and be baptized. And then the next person will tell you just to do your best and live a good life. If nothing else, we can be sure of one thing, they can't all be right. The Bible says that you can be certain of going to Heaven. In order to get into a perfect Heaven on your own, you would have to be perfect also. Otherwise Heaven just wouldn't be perfect anymore. In fact, there is only one thing left for us to do. Believe God or not believe God. Either you believe that Christ paid for all your sins and trust Him to get you to Heaven, or trust yourself and your own sense of direction. Jesus said, "Truthfully, truthfully, I say to you, he who believes on Me has everlasting life," (John 6:47). Right now, why not trust that Christ's death, burial and resurrection completely paid that penalty for your sins? All you have to do is go to God in prayer and ask Him to save you. "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord WILL be saved" (Romans 10:13). For more information, feel free to contact a member of the church staff, either via e-mail, phone, or in person. |
