Preparation for Serving the Lord

Dr. Dennis J. Mock developed the BTC Curriculum in response to the need to train national pastors and church leaders in Kenya.  Since that time, the material has been translated into 14 languages, and is being used in over 50 countries.

The core elements of the training are available for US churches to train leaders, teachers, and any believer desiring to become grounded in the Word of God.

     Course 1   Bible Study Methods and Rules of Interpretation

     Course 2   Old Testament Survey

     Course 3   New Testament Survey

     Course 4   Bible Doctrine Survey

     Course 5   Personal Spiritual Life

Who: Anyone interested in comprehensive Bible training, in order to better equipped to serve the Lord.

When:  This year Course 3,  NT Survey, is being offered on Sunday afternoons.

How Long: Course hours range from 40 to 60 hours of instruction.

Level of Effort: Most of the work is completed in class.  The format is designed for people who have fulltime commitments. (This is partly why the course hours are so high.)

Required Materials: Course workbook and the Zondervan Study Bible.
