Life's Super Bowl Camp Joy El Greencastle, PA Eli Manning's recent win in the Super Bowl provides us a wonderful example of what he Apostle Paul refers to in 1 Cor. 9:24 "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize." Each man should be continually challenged about their commitment to win through Christ's power in their personal life, their family life, their church life, and in the most important game of all - how our life either builds up or tears down Christ's kingdom in the marketplace. Our speaker, Dave Wyrtzen, is a pastor-teacher. His life goal is to communicate God's truth through the power of the Spirit in powerful, practical, and skillful ways. For 34 years Dave has faithfully pastored in Midlothian, Texas. Our session topics are; "Where's the Goal Line?", "Your Family's Game Plan", "Your Plays in the Church", and "The Big Game in the Marketplace". Cost: $110 includes semi-private lodge accommodations and five meals at Camp Joy El. Free Time Activities: Solitude and Seclusion- plenty of space for some quiet time alone or for conversation. Basketball, Volleyball, Ping Pong, and local hikes. We will meet up at camp around 7PM on Friday and depart for home about 1PM on Sunday. What to Bring: Towel, toiletries, sleeping bag or sheets and blanket, pillow, small flashlight, Bible, pen, note pad, casual clothes & shoes/clothes for sports and hiking, and most importantly - an open heart. |
