Speaking Truth in Apostate Times
Please join your brothers in Christ as we follow the Prophet Elijah who spoke the truth to a wayward people in 1 Kings 18 - 22. Our speaker will help us understand what it means to know and share the truth in apostate times and how our personal ministry can help us and other have a true hope within us.
Our speaker, Dr. Homer Heater, spent most of his life, except for an eight year stint in Dallas, teaching at the Dallas Theological Seminary. He and his wife has four sons and nine grandchildren. Homer is the President Emeritus of the the Washington Bible College and Capital Bible Seminary. He and his wife moved to Texas in June 2007. Homer is Minister at Large with BCM International.
Fees:
Registration fees includes accommodations and five meals. Cost $100.

What to Bring:
Towel, toiletries, sleeping bag or sheets and blanket, pillow, small flashlight, Bible, pen note pad, casual clothes & shoes/clothes for sports and hiking, open heart.
Basic Agenda:
Friday- Dinner en route, 2 1/2 hr. trip, arrive at NLBC around 7 PM, settle in, first session / small groups
Saturday - Three meals, two sessions with Dr. Heater, small group activities, free time, and The Lord's Table offered in the manner of CBC tradition.
Sunday - Two meals, one session with Dr. Heater, small groups, depart for home about 1 PM
