CBC MOPS MOPS stand for Mothers of Preschoolers and exists to encourage expecting mothers and mothers who have children in kindergarten or younger. Our desire for each of you is to find companionship and support in the enormous task of mothering. After all, the slogan of MOPS is “Better Moms Make a Better World” and we want you to know our primary goal is to meet your needs as a mother. Typical Meeting Our meetings start at 9:30am with announcements and breakfast, followed by a speaker, small group discussion, and a craft. MOPPETS As a mom, please rest assured that your little ones are in excellent hands in our MOPPETS children’s program. The curriculum for the toddlers to the five-year-olds is wonderful and interactive and will keep them busy during our time together. Our nursery begins accepting babies at 2 months of age. Infants younger than 5 months are welcome to stay with their moms. However, babies attending MOPS with their mothers that will be 2 months or older by the end of the semester must register the infant in the MOPPETS program to assure a place in the nursery if needed. Sign-up Below are the semester costs and other details for your information. If you would like to join us, we now have two ways to register: online or by mail. Registration will begin April 13th for returning moms and May 12th for new moms and fees increase after May 31. To register online, you may click on the link, fill out the forms and pay fees by Paypal. If you are registering after May 11th we will need to varify that there is room in our MOPPETS program before you can complete registeration. Your membership to MOPS International will include MOMSense Magazine, a weekly MOM e-mail, and other goodies. Payment of your semester fees reserves your place in the program. Scholarships are available for those needing assistance. Our heart's desire is that everyone will be able to come, so please contact Val Johnson or Holly Pichtel if you have any questions or need assistance.
New women may join the MOPS group throughout the year.
Visitors We would love for you to come visit our group. However, you need to contact Holly Pichtel to pre-register in order to assure that there is room for you and your child(ren). The cost is $5 for you and if there is childcare available it will cost an additional $5/child (a max of $15 for mom and children). Meeting Dates We usually meet the second and fourth Tuesday of every month from 9:30 am - 11:45 am, but due to holidays and school schedules our meeting dates are a little different this semester. However, we need to assure that we have space for you and your child(ren). Please fill out a registration form online or print it out and mail it to Chantilly Bible Church, Attn: MOPS, Holly Pichtel. You will be contacted regarding the space available and the need for further information. Registration will open on May 12 for the Fall 2010 semester for new moms.
